I've been trying to find something for our front door for a while now. I like the letter thing, and the wreath thing but I didn't know how to combine them. So I decided to just do the letter thing.
I found one of these wood letters at Hobby Lobby. I painted the edges first, then ModPodged scrapbook paper to it. (The letter is still wet, that's why it's lumpy. I promise it looked better when it dried!) After it dried I hot glued ribbon where the different papers touched, and also a daisy on the side.
After my letter was done I hung it up on my door and hated it. It was too plain. So I went back to Hobby Lobby and found one of these "sun" wreaths and tied my letter onto it with hemp rope.
I really like how it turned out! Perfect for me!

This is really cute and you could change it up so many ways to fit all seasons!
